"Heart warming lyrics. Your music is wonderful ... you have a lovely voice...a very, gifted singer and composer"
Stef Sigfalk, Bowtriplets, Sweden

"I received your CD today and have had an opportunity to listen to it. I consider myself fortunate that you have found it in your heart to send a copy to me. A very delightful, stimulating . . . musical experience. I enjoy your mastery over the spoken word. Your ability to tie phrases together in a smooth and articulate web is very good. This is an excellent piece of musical art, of which you must be proud. You have a unique musical voice that lends itself to several different moods with great smoothness and control. For your info my favorite tracks are in there order; 1) Beginnings Rose without rain 2) Giovanni's song 3) Faces 4) Colder than snow 5) I'm in love 6) Ashes 7) Quiet Desperation I can't help but wonder how many of these songs were composed from personal experience!

Now that I've had a chance to listen to "Faces" a number of times, I want to tell you that it touches me deeply. What a beautiful work! I can understand why you get many requests for "I'm In Love". It's very compelling. Along with it I most like "Beginnings/Rose Without Rain", Colder Than Snow" and the album's title song "Faces".

There is much to admire in Faces: The lyrics are great throughout as are the arrangements. Product values are good to excellent. Performances by you and the other musicians are solid. The album as a whole is a pleasure to listen to.

Jane Fallon is one of those special artists whose music you cannot really categorize. Her songs are simple, poetic and delicate acoustic dittys that have a unique, subtle charm and delight about them. Each song is beautifully crafted, and often has a slight celtic presence whilst Jane's voice is lovely and soothing. You feel really relaxed after listening to some of her magical moments on"Faces". My favourite song is the opening track "Beginnings" which is a just a simply exquisite song that hardly features any instrumentation at all. This is gentle lullabye, a subtle ballad with really lovely vocal parts from Jane;the accoustic guitar gently comes into the song as Janes voice spreads across the lyrics, which leaves you totally breathless and speechless. The whole album is like this;it's dark and wintery and reminds me of JANE SIBBERY and very early HEART when they were a bit folky sounding. I get the feeling that the material featured on "Faces" is of a personal nature;...it's hugely enjoyable ... this whole record is very peaceful and elegant. Now and again you get catchy uptempo moments like "Too Long, Too Blue" which reminds me of AMANDA MARSHALL and FIONA APPLE, and the excellent and funny "I'm In Love" check out the lyric content : " You may not have the looks of Patrick Swayze, the girls in town may not sigh, swoon or go crazy, you may have a face only your mom would be fond of , but if you can fix my car I'm in love" .Sounds cheesy I know but it works! As it goes "Faces" has won a very special place in my heart.

A good, loving album that deserves to be bought. It will make you sad and home-sicky and perhaps bring a smile to your memories. Jane sings it close to the mic, so you catch a voice that breaks against the edges now and then, proving herself real, and yet a real pleasure.

This is an excellent CD. It is a combination of the fun and the sad, and it makes comment on social ills that are well known but seldom given space in our minds and thoughts. I suppose in that sense it is thought provoking, and what better accolade can a songwriter have than being capable of such power in our modern world?~ Nicky Rossiter,

After listening several time to the CD, savoring the poetry, melodies, and rhythms of your beautiful, flawlessly executed songs, I can say that"Cool Water," "Ashes", "Quiet Desperation", and "Giovanni's Song" are among my favorites."
